How to use the idolo Tether Tie

Step 1: Loop the rope

Step 2: Place the loop under the friction bar

Step 3: Place the loop over the shoulder and attach to a clip or carabiner

Step 4: Attach rope clip to horse halter. Connect threaded tether tie to a secure tie ring. Use lighter pressure first

Step 5: Ensure there are no knots or snags in the rope after connecting to the ring

You can connect the tie with an easy double clip, carabiner, chain or a tie ring.

Encourage your horse to pull back by waving a plastic bag or something similar. When your horse pulls back, the rope will slowly pass through the tether tie. Pull the excess rope back towards the horses head and repeat.

You can adjust the pressure by turning the tether tie over. There are two pressure settings high and low.

You can use almost any type of rope with the Tether tie, we recommend using longer ropes to start to help your horse get used to the tie.

Do not knot the rope as this may cause breakages.
